Olympians is for boys and girls in grades 1-5 meeting during the school year. Olympians consists of Bible lessons, personal training time where leaders and students meet in small groups to discuss the lessons and share in prayer time, games, Bible memory, and Christian service activities. Olympians is a branch of the Word of Life Ministries, which allows us access to curriculum, activities, events, and support for our leaders. Our goal for Olympians is to reach boys and girls, as well as their families, with the Gospel of Christ, and to train and equip them to live out their faith as they go through daily life.!
We love to hold lesson review games to start the night! We want the Kids to understand the importance of retaining the lessons learned in the teaching week by week so they can use them in life!
We use powerpoint to sing songs with the kids. They really enjoy this opportunity to Worship God in singing!
We use Word of Life cirriculm to teach lessons found in Gods word! The lessons are built with the opportunity for kids to answer questions and get involved. No greater joy for us is to see kids in the word of God reading and asking questions!
We end our night with structered game time. This is a great opportunity to build realtionships with eachother. The leaders love this time to encourage and build relationships with the kids!
